Can we build it?

Today, my friend, Jodi, and I took our kids to Home Depot's Kids Workshop. It was super fun for the kids. Home Depot gave them the supplies and tools to build a cute little memory tray. This sounds pretty easy, doesn't it? It wasn't. It isn't a good idea to go there with a ratio of 6 kids to 2 women. They all want help at the same time, they are all talking at the same time and there just aren't enough of you to go around. We did get the trays assembled. Several of them looked really great. Several of them looked authentically kid-made. All in all, I'm glad we went because the kids really enjoyed it. Home Depot offers this free service the first Saturday of every month. I'm sure the kids will go back, maybe with the dads next time!
